DEADWOOD, S.D. — Deadwood’s gaming numbers in November were up significantly, but sports betting was down a bit.
The overall handle last month was up 30.4 percent from November of last year.
The slot machine handle was up more than 29 percent from the same time last year.
The table game handle was also up close to 40 percent.
The city’s Gaming Association says sports wagering was down slightly from October offering no numbers, adding that betting options will be expanded on December 31.
For this year-to-date, revenues are up 31.5 percent over the first 11 months of 2019, which was the last full year of gaming in Deadwood.
